He holds two masters degrees in Physics (2002) and Applied Optics (2004) from Indian Institute of Technonoly Delhi, India. He then joined Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, UK in Oct 2006 as research student and obtained his PhD in Jan 2011 in the area of Tantalum Pentoxide based waveguide amplfiers and lasers for PLCs.
