Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the extraction of dispersive directional coupler parameters (coupling coefficients) using optical transmission measurements. The coupling coefficients are extracted using both direct transmission of directional couplers and through more complex \textit{Mach-Zehnder interferometers} (MZI) and we conclude that coefficients using the MZI circuits give better accuracy.
